Make Way For Ducklings!!
Our little learners and teachers were very excited to participate in our duck hatching project. Thanks to our friends at Quiver Farm the children had the opportunity to learn about life cycles and care for this little flock!
On July 14th the delivery arrived. Once the incubator was set up, the preschoolers were responsible for checking the temperature and humidity levels, and turning the eggs three times a day! On Monday our ducklings hatched!! We had six fluffy little babies to care for and all of the age groups were able to help. The children held and played with the ducklings, and even had the chance to take them for a swim!
