Celebrating Community Helpers
September has been absolutely sensational here at Li'l Tykes! We explored the topic of community helpers and enjoyed a visit from the Springfield Police Department. The children had a blast role-playing as various professionals, including teachers, doctors, construction workers, chefs, and hair stylists, among others!
Engaging Activities

Learning About Bike Safety
We ended the month learning all about bike safety. This is a crucial topic for young children, as it helps them understand how to stay safe while enjoying outdoor activities. We discussed the importance of wearing helmets and following traffic rules.
Trike-A-Thon for a Good Cause
In addition to our bike safety lessons, we took part in a Trike-A-Thon to support St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The event was a huge success! We raised over $3,000 for childhood cancer research. This experience taught the children about the power of giving back and the impact they can have on others' lives.
