Dragon Lily Room
3–4 years
As Preschoolers gain more self-esteem, they feel ready to take on the world. Our Preschool Program enhances that confidence by providing activities to stimulate your child's growing mind with an emphasis on fun! Through independent exploration, structured activities and hands-on learning, children develop a variety of skills and knowledge in areas such as early literacy, writing skills, mathematics, science and social skills. The Preschool Program also focuses on behavior and social and emotional development. The children learn to separate easily from parents, respect one another, transition easily between activities, sit quietly during circle time and take turns willingly. Through a mixture of guided lessons and creative play, your child will be provided with the foundation that is necessary for later learning.
A Strong Foundation for Learning
Your child will practice writing, engage in early math activities, and develop language skills. Through storytelling, singing, and play, we help children recognize patterns, rhyming words, and build the foundations of reading and writing.
Fostering Creative Expression
Our preschoolers are encouraged to express themselves through art, music, and imaginative play. Whether they’re creating with clay, acting out a story, or composing their own songs, your child will develop self-confidence and emotional expression through these activities.
Social Development
Children learn valuable social skills by working in groups, taking turns, and learning to resolve conflicts. We help children express their emotions verbally, understand others, and form meaningful friendships within our warm, inclusive environment.
Outdoor Play
Outdoor play is an essential part of our preschool program, providing children with the space to explore, imagine, and develop physically. Our outdoor activities are designed to complement the learning that takes place inside the classroom.
