At Li’l Tyke’s, creativity is always in full bloom—and this year’s Art Show beautifully showcased the imagination, curiosity, and joy of every child in our care. Each classroom explored art in unique and meaningful ways, drawing inspiration from famous artists, music, literature, and the world around them.

Sunflower Room (Infants)

Our youngest artists in the Sunflower Room explored sensory-rich experiences through color, texture, and music. They created beautiful umbrella paintings inspired by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, along with adorable footprint creations including ducks, caterpillars, owls, and even carrots! Using their hands and feet, these little ones experimented with vibrant colors, resulting in one-of-a-kind masterpieces full of personality and charm.

Sweet Pea Room (Young Toddlers)

The Sweet Pea Room dove into imaginative and playful themes. Their bright yellow submarine, inspired by the beloved Yellow Submarine by The Beatles, made waves alongside their under-the-sea fish collages. The children explored a variety of artistic techniques through both visual art and music. They painted flowers, bunnies, and chicks; created silhouette dinosaurs; and used creative tools like golf balls to paint raindrops and butterflies. A standout group project—a colorful kite inspired by Yayoi Kusama—captured both teamwork and creativity in motion.

Morning Glory Room (Older Toddlers)

Inspired by the beloved work of Eric Carle, the Morning Glory Room created vibrant caterpillars and butterflies using layered textures and bold colors. Their creativity continued with dinosaur fossils, textured shamrocks, marble-painted rainbows, colorful fish, pots of gold, and circular designs inspired by Wassily Kandinsky. Each piece reflected their growing ability to explore patterns, shapes, and storytelling through visual art and music.

Dragon Lily Room (3–4 Year Olds)

The Dragon Lily Room collaborated on a striking Campbell’s Soup can collage inspired by Andy Warhol, introducing the children to pop art in a fun and engaging way. Their artwork also included butterflies, dinosaurs, and textured rainbows. A highlight was their black-and-white grid art with bold primary color blocks, inspired by Piet Mondrian, showcasing their understanding of structure and design.

Daisy Room (4–5 Year Olds)

Our oldest artists in the Daisy Room brought incredible detail and imagination to their work. They explored geometric creativity through Spirograph-style art and recreated masterpieces inspired by Vincent van Gogh, including Starry Night and Sunflowers. Their “painting the ceiling” project, inspired by Michelangelo, encouraged them to think outside the box—literally! Additional creations included pots of gold, rainbows, dinosaurs, and marching ants. They also created beautiful 3D colorful patchwork elephants inspired by the book Elmer by David McKee.

Celebrating Creativity This year’s Art Show was more than just a display of artwork—it was a celebration of exploration, self-expression, and growth.

Each piece tells a story, capturing moments of discovery, joy, and imagination.

We are so proud of our young artists and grateful to our dedicated teachers who nurture creativity every day.

Thank you to all the families who joined us in celebrating the incredible talents of our children.

We can’t wait to see what they create next!
